Quincy Credit Union lobbies in Quincy and Weymouth will temporarily close to member visits. Our drive-up lanes will remain open for routine transactions. Precautionary Steps we are Taking

We have preventive programs in place to reduce the likelihood that our operations would be significantly affected by the Coronavirus, including:

  • Educating employees
  • Monitoring of potential outbreaks
  • Communicating and coordinating with critical service providers and suppliers, and providing appropriate hygiene training and tools to employees
  • We will continue to monitor our employee population and take appropriate action to reduce exposure to other colleagues and customers if an employee is exhibiting flu like symptoms. As always, we have instructed all colleagues exhibiting any signs of illness to stay home.
  • We have asked our cleaning companies to be even more vigilant in disinfecting frequently touched areas. In addition, we are actively working to have hand sanitizer available for use at all of our locations.

We have implemented internal “social distancing” techniques to minimize the typical face-to-face contact by utilizing teleconference calls, video conferencing, and flexible work spaces. In addition, we kindly ask all of our customers to help us maintain a handshake-free zone at all Rockland Trust locations.

For our members feeling the financial impact of the Coronavirus with regard to their financial loan obligations, we are here to help. We understand this situation can cause added stress. Quincy Credit Union is offering assistance to our members who may find it difficult to meet their loan payments obligations due to loss of wages, closures, etc. QCU will offer an extension on the payment date for selected loans.Complete terms of the agreement can be found in the loan relief assistance request form.

Today, in these extreme times of financial and personal uncertainty, we are pleased to provide loan assistance for members who may be experiencing hardships during the COVID-19 health crisis. The QCU COVID-19 Assistance Loan can help ease the financial burden from lost wages or impending expenses, and support our members through very difficult economic circumstances.

  • $2,500 fixed rate personal loan with a 12 month term
  • First payment deferred for 60 days from disbursement date
  • .25% interest rate discount for automatic payment via a QCU account
  • Interest rates start as low as 2.75% APR*
  • Last pay stub will be accepted for income verification

Rates as low as 2.75% - 7.00%. Payment per thousand at 2.75% is $84.49 for 12 month term. Payment per thousand at 7.00% is $86.54 for a 12 month term. Interest will accrue during payment deferment.
